The stripe of this linen is woven, not printed: it does not fade in the wash and it reads on both faces of the cloth, as on our table linen in the same stripe. A printed cloth goes pale in a single summer.
The small inside pocket holds what gets lost at the bottom (clips, cotton buds, a tube of cream), and it earns its keep all the more on a short format, worked out to fit a school bag without taking the volume of a suitcase case. The dark red thread stays legible on a striped ground, where a pale tone would merge with the bands. The other models are in our toiletry bags.
