Double-sided Bib Blue: personalised embroidery, made in France
A double-sided bib is not a lined bib: these are two cloths, each chosen for what it does well, sewn back to back. On the blue side, the honeycomb cotton drinks what escapes the bottle; the Flecked Blue washed linen, on the other, is the face you show when you go out.
It ties round the neck, which holds better than a hook-and-loop fastening and does not come undone by itself in the machine. The ecru of the embroidery sits on both blues without dominating or disappearing, and it is also what brings the bib home from nursery. The Flecked Blue linen is found on our napkins, and the same blue dresses the baby bath cape.
