Peacock Terry Cloth Bathrobe: personalised embroidery, made in France
Terry is a looped weave: cotton loops standing up across the whole surface, holding water instead of letting it run off. The honeycomb of our lighter bathrobes is flat and absorbs by capillarity: two ways of drying, and two weights on the shoulders.
Peacock is the colourway that ages best in a bathroom: unlike white it shows neither make-up marks nor limescale rings, and it washes at the same temperature. The embroidery is done in ecru thread, the only one that stands out plainly on a ground this deep. The same green dresses our children's bathrobe; the other colourways are in our bathrobes.
