Tea towels & hand towels White Red: personalised embroidery, made in France
White embroidered in red is the pairing of trousseau linen: red thread was once the dye that held through a very hot wash, and the marking was done in that colour. The pairing has stayed, and it is the most recognisable of our tea towels.
It is also the easiest to live with: a tea towel really does get dirty, and white washes hotter than the dyed colourways. Embroidered with a first name or the name of a house, it is a present that then serves every day. The other colourways are in our tea towels and hand towels.
