Placemats Blue White: personalised embroidery, made in France
A placemat does two things a tablecloth does not: it marks out each person's place, and it goes into the machine on its own when a glass has been knocked over. It is the piece for wooden tables you do not want to cover, and for children's tables.
The size holds a plate, a glass and the cutlery without two places overlapping. Embroidered with first names, by six or by eight, everyone finds their place without a card being laid down. The linen is that of our napkins: you match the mat and the napkin, or set them against each other on purpose.
