per unit · tax incl.

A personalised apron in Peacock washed linen, embroidered in ecru thread on the chest in our workshop in Lozère. The classic model: adjustable neck strap, two large front pockets, unisex cut. The deep blue-green of the house is the colourway that shows least of what a kitchen does to linen. 100 % washed linen, overlocked at the hem, made in France.

Aprons Classic Peacock: personalised embroidery, made in France

The two large pockets are not a styling detail: that is where the tea towel, the phone and the spoon you have just tasted from go. An apron with no pocket forces you to put all that on the worktop, between the flour and the chopping board: that is what separates a real kitchen apron from a decorative piece.

The hem is closed with a cotton-thread overlock, the seam that holds the edge of a piece washed every week. Peacock washed linen is the green that gave the house its colour, and the ecru of the embroidery is the thread we have paired with it from the start. The child's apron comes in the same linen: see the Mini Peacock, to cook two at a time.
