A personalised child's apron in gingham linen, embroidered in red thread in our workshop in Lozère. 70 cm wide by 71 high, the size of apprentice bakers. The gingham is woven into the linen and not printed on it: it does not fade in the wash, and it hides well what a child spills. Embroidered first name included. OEKO-TEX certified linen, made in France.

Aprons Mini Checkered: personalised embroidery, made in France
Gingham is the check of childhood: that of summer dresses, of tea-time tablecloths and of school aprons. On a child's apron it has the advantage of blurring the marks rather than displaying them, which a pale flat colour never forgives.
The red thread is the contrast that stays legible on a checked ground, and it is also the one children ask for when you put the question to them. The strap adjusts at the neck: the apron covers from chest to knees and follows two or three years of growth before becoming too short. The same gingham comes as a half apron for the grown-ups, in our aprons.
