Aprons Mini Green Stripes: personalised embroidery, made in France
On a green and white ground, the dark red thread is the third tone, the one that keeps the whole from being too well-behaved. It is the pairing of old kitchen linen, and it holds as well on an apron of 70 cm as on a large tablecloth.
The stripe reads on the reverse of the cloth as much as on the face: it is taken into the weave, not laid on top, which counts for a piece that goes back into the machine every week. The embroidered first name or nickname turns the apron into a personal garment, and settles the question when two of them want to help. It covers from chest to knees.
