Tea towels & hand towels Burgundy: personalised embroidery, made in France
Rhubarb is the red of the stalk, not of the jam: a matt tone, faintly pink. It puts colour into a kitchen without becoming the loudest thing in it, in front of a terracotta splashback as in an all-white room.
The thread is an off-white: on a pinkish red, that is the contrast that stays legible without hardening the colour, where a pure white would look like a blot. The same colourway dresses our Burgundy napkins and our placemat, to match the worktop to the table.
