Rhubarb is an earthy, pinkish red, a still-life red rather than a festive one. All four are embroidered separately, one name per piece. OEKO-TEX certified linen, 40 by 40 cm each. Pack 4 Burgundy Napkins: personalised embroidery, made in France
This is a red that agrees with wood, stoneware plates, squashes and dry foliage: it comes out for a November dinner as readily as for an Easter lunch, without giving the impression that the celebration linen has been brought back out.
Washed linen makes it more matt still than it is to begin with, and that is what makes it wearable on an ordinary day, where a bright red would commit the whole meal. The colourway also dresses the tablecloth, the tea towel and the placemat: the table can therefore match entirely, or only in touches, according to what you want of it.
