Pack 3 Flecked Grey Napkins: personalised embroidery, made in France
A flecked grey is not a grey dyed in the piece: the loom crosses a grey thread with an ecru one, and the colour that results is pricked with light, alive, far easier to live with than a flat grey, which shows everything you put on it.
This is the set you give when you do not know the china of the person receiving it: grey accommodates old porcelain as well as raw stoneware, and linen gives it a hold and a matt quality cotton does not have. A present that assumes nothing about anybody's taste. The set of four is in our napkins.
